You will notice a bit of a difference in the website. This is because the website has been shifted to the WordPress platform in order to ensure better functionality. All the content on the site remains the same as before.
In addition, the website now has a comment feature on each post for feedback or discussion on news items. Please feel free to comment on any post. You can also leave any feedback on the changes to the site either in the comment section, or by email.

Please be aware that Sobeys’ Kelsey Drive location will be hosting a gluten free cooking class on May 9 at a cost of $15. Further information on the Nutrition programs being hosting during the month of May at all Sobeys locations can be found in the attached documents.

Our AGM will be held on June 18, 2011 at 11 am at the NLTA building. Please feel free to bring munchies to share.

Pizza Party, Lunchtime May 28th 2011 to celebrate Celiac Awareness Month, 12:00 noon at Kelsey Drive Boston Pizza. If you are unsure of the location, you can use the ‘Find a Location’ link on the Boston Pizza Web site. Their Web site also has their full menu available to view.
If you plan to attend, contact Geralyn by May 20th, as we need to know the number of reservations ahead of time. Leave a message on her home voice mail (364-8757) or email at gcostello@nlta.nl.ca. People can order from the menu at the restaurant and it doesn’t have to be pizza. Everyone pays themselves.

The next Chapter meeting will take place on Thursday, February 16th at 7:30 pm in the Community Room of the Sobey’s on Kelsey Drive.

As well, we will be holding our next planned event on April 21st to celebrate Celiac Awareness Month. Specifics on this event will be determined at a later time.

The meeting scheduled for February 16th has been postponed due to uncertain weather conditions. The meeting will be rescheduled for sometime in March. Information on the new date and time will be sent out by email.
